Pad Project Events

We’re excited to kick off the 2026 launch of Zharity’s Pad Project—now in its 4th year! This year, we will continue supporting our partner school, Nicolas Robinson School in Mekele, Ethiopia, with a goal of producing at least 400 reusable pads this year.

Our pads are prepped and sewn 100% through volunteer work. Our first events begin in March with a weekend Material Cutting Event on Saturday, March 28th (2:00 -4:00) - no sewing experience needed, all are welcome! Sign up HERE.

We’re also looking for volunteer sewers. If you have a sewing machine and prefer to work from home, you can sign up to receive pad materials HERE. If you’d rather sew in a group or don’t have a machine, join one of the Zharity Community Sewing sessions hosted by Knit Sew at their studio in Zollikerberg.

Announcing the Zharity Corporate Partner Program

Zharity is proud to launch our new Corporate Partner Program, inviting companies across Zürich to join us in creating sustainable community impact. As a 100% volunteer-based nonprofit, Zharity relies on Corporate Partnerships to support our local work — including our redistribution network and essential-needs efforts that directly support our Community Partners.

Through the program, partners gain access to hands-on, team-building volunteer activities that make a visible local difference while strengthening employee engagement and corporate culture.

The program offers flexible partnership levels  with benefits such as social media recognition, dedicated team events, and opportunities to sponsor seasonal goods collections. In-kind contributions are also welcomed.

Thanks to International School Zurich North

Zharity would like to extend our sincere thanks to the International School of Zurich North for their generosity and initiative through their Children’s Winter Accessories Drive at the end of 2025.

Led by their Grade 4–5 students, this effort provided much-needed winter accessories to support our community partners during the colder months. We are especially grateful to the lead teacher, Cecile Meintjes, for her leadership and dedication in bringing this project to life.

It’s inspiring to see students not only giving back, but also learning more about their community and the impact they can make. Their compassion and commitment truly make a difference.

We are grateful for this collaboration and look forward to working together again in the future.
