We are looking for volunteers to help us make 1000 essential hygiene kits. These kits will include crucial hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant and will be distributed to local foodbanks via a trusted local partner.

Zharity will be working again in 2025 to make and provide reusable feminine hygiene pads for a school in Ethiopia.  In order for our sewing team to sew the pads, we need to first prepare all the materials.  At these material prep/cutting events, we will be cutting and preparing the materials for sewing later in the Spring.  No sewing experience needed at this event!  Please join us to meet other Zharity members while we work to prepare these materials.

Please join us for our Virtual General Assembly Meeting on Tuesday, January 21 at 19:00. We will summarize our activities in 2024, talk about plans for 2025 and vote on a new budget. We are looking for 15 volunteers to help us make 500 essential hygiene kits for the last kit-making event of 2024. These kits will include essential items like toothbrushes, toothpaste and writing materials, and will be distributed to communities in Afghanistan by a local partner organization, Afghanistanhilfe. Afghanistanhilfe, a group based in Switzerland has been providing free aid to those in need since 1988.

Date/Time: Monday, November 4th, 14:00 - 16:00, Our Happy Place (Manegg)

Cost: The cost is  CHF 10 per person per session. Everyone will be provided a warm beverage from the cafe. This cost helps to cover the cost for the event rental. The cafe also has amazing meals and treats available for purchase.

All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Please note - this event is for individual community members only. We ask that no corporate team members sign up for this event.
